Sorrento

A small town with a big reputation! Steep cliffs welcome you to a place where Dickens, Goethe and Tolstoy found their inspiration. The romance is hidden in the Sorrento air. From here, Pompeii, Naples and Capri are also within reach.

Bonifacio / Corsica

Perched high on a white limestone cliff, this French medieval town is also known as the “Citadel of the Cliffs.” A true mecca for divers, the seabed is littered with ancient ships. It’s the oldest town in Corsica, and if you’re looking for a stiff workout, King Aragon Alfonso V’s staircase offers 187 steep steps leading down to the sea, where you can dive into the turquoise waters. The climb is a blast.

Portofino

A breathtaking beauty and a seduction for life – Portofino was the place where Grace Kelly and Liz Taylor enjoyed the sun on the terraces of the Hotel Splendido. Even today Portofino exerts this attraction on celebrities and jetsetters alike. This stop is sure to be a highlight on your cruise.

Florence / Pisa (Livorno)

Welcome to the birthplace of the Renaissance. Florence offers a treasure trove of masterpieces to see and things to do! Our favorites are the Duomo, the jewel of this city, as well as the Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Medici Riccardi. Notable residents were Machiavelli, Dante, Michelangelo, Donatello and many more. You could also catch a connection to Pisa and Bologna here.

Portoferraio / Elba Island

Today we jump back in time with a visit to the Pearl of the Mediterranean, a place worthy of an emperor. Napoleon’s villas, San Martino and Villa dei Mulini, are both open for visits. There are also wonderful beaches here to swim in the sea and just bask in the sun, like Le Ghiaie or Sansone.
