Ochos Rios, Jamaica
Ocho Rios is a port city on the north coast of Jamaica. The former fishing village is now a resort with a cruise ship port and a busy hotel-lined beach on Ocho Rios Bay. The surrounding community of Saint Ann is home to rainforest, rivers and waterfalls. Dunn’s River Falls is a terraced, 180-meter-high mountain waterfall with lagoon pools surrounded by trees. Many visitors to Ocho Rios enjoy a hike up to Dunn’s River Falls, where you pass a series of limestone steps hidden beneath the rushing water. Stop along the way to take a dip in one of the Falls’ clear, terraced pools.
Georgetown, Grand Cayman
The Grand Cayman cruise port, George Town is located on the island of Grand Cayman, which is the largest of the Cayman Islands. Grand Cayman has the glitz and glamour you would expect from a city known for its financial district.
