The Big Nude Boat 2023 returns to the “Bare-Adise”! February 12-26, 2023 aboard Carnival Pride, starting and ending in Tampa, Florida.
We set sail for the Eastern Caribbean for 14 days of sea, sun and fun with stops in St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Antigua as well as some favorite ports from years past. A “Bare-Adise” would not be complete without a private island experience, and we have TWO private beach days in the Bahamas at Princess Cays and Half Moon Cay to enjoy at our leisure.

There are always certain considerations when planning a winter cruise. The places we visit must be warm. We want as many nudist opportunities as possible, including beautiful days at sea to relax naked aboard the ship. Above all, we know that passengers love the sea, the sun and fun; with our Big Nude Boat 2023 we have met all the criteria!
The route of the Big Nude Boat 2023
We’ll sail on our favorite ship, the Carnival Pride, and visit islands we haven’t visited in decades: St. Kitts, St. Thomas and Antigua. These three islands are as far south as we can travel in the Caribbean and still be back in Tampa after two weeks. They are warm, the water is clear and blue. They are waiting to welcome us back.
Grand Turk and Amber Cove have always been popular ports of call. The highlight of the cruise, however, is our exclusive visits to the private beach resort Princess Cays and a day at the beach on the popular private island Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas. These two days with nudism by the sea promise sun and fun.
Combine a great itinerary with Valentine’s Day and onboard costume parties, such as Fat Tuesday, with the chance to meet the world’s best nudist passengers – and you have a cruise to remember.
The ship: The “Carnival Pride
The Carnival Pride is a Spirit-class ship, which also includes the Miracle and Legend. The theme of the ship is “Icons of Beauty” and among her many classic nude statues and paintings we will feel right at home. The last time we were aboard Pride was the Dare to Bare in 2017, one of our favorite cruises. Carnival Pride has received the Fun Ship 2.0 Makeover as well as a recent renovation in 2019.
Onboard dining options include the Art Deco-inspired main dining room, the Zen-like Bonsai Sushi, and David’s Specialty Steakhouse at the top of the ship, with a 12-foot-tall reproduction of the statue of David greeting you. For al fresco dining, choices include Mermaid’s Grill on the Lido Deck with pretty mermaid statues on the walls, the incredibly popular Guy’s Burger Joint and the deliciously spicy BlueIguana Cantina. Enjoy specialty coffee, 24-hour pizza and ice cream, or find something sweet at Cherry on Top.
Pools, clubs, bars and more(h)r
Swim in the pools and take a dip in the whirlpools. Enjoy a movie under the stars at the Seaside Theater. Sink into a good book or just the company of another at Serenity Retreat. Take a ride on the water slides. Music lovers can sing along at the Piano Bar and shouldn’t miss the elaborate song and dance performances at the Main Theater. Dance the night away at Beauties Dance Club and enjoy live music performances throughout the ship. End the evening with laughter at the Comedy Club. Activities abound aboard Carnival Pride.
This ship is sleek, fast and with its bold decor, the Carnival Pride is the perfect choice for our bare-bones cruise. We are proud that it will be our home for our once-in-a-lifetime, epic two-week trip. Carnival’s staff and crew are the best and we can’t wait to see them again in 2022!
The Carnival Pride weighs 88,500 tons and has a capacity of 2,124 guests. She is one of six ships built with the Panamax design, which allows passage through the Panama Canal. The Pride was Carnival’s flagship for many years.
